Florida Gators Swimming & Diving Team Sends Off Graduates

Emma Whitner is a Jacksonville resident who attended the Warrington College of Business, graduating with a BSBA in finance. As a student athlete, Emma Whitner was a Florida Gators swimming and diving team member, finishing her collegiate career with multiple top-10 finishes.

Before the final team meet in the 2020–2021 season, graduating student athletes were recognized for their academic achievements and athletic prowess. The graduates received flower bouquets, plaques, and a round of applause from their team members.

Ms. Whitner stood among ten of her teammates who were a part of the graduating seniors. Three of them made it to the CSCAA Scholar All-America first team while Whitner made it onto the second team. The members received handshakes and praise from their coaches.

The Florida Gators swimming and diving teams compete in the NCAA championships every year, with consistently high rankings. Whitner’s personal best coincided with her 2020 SEC national championship participation with 285.45 points.
